We welcome scholars to the fifteenth biannual Swedish Economic History Meeting and the fourth annual Conference of the Scandinavian Society for Economic and Social History.
Due to track maintenance, the trains between Lund and Malmö are cancelled during the week of the meeting. There are rail replacement buses between Malmö C and Lund.

PhD students attending the meeting are invited to join Ellen Hillbom (Head of PhD studies at Lund) at Café Ariman after the final session of the day on Thursday and before the dinner at Torgets. It is just a short walk from AF Borgen.
We invite willing quizzers to join us for a pub quiz at John Bull Pub & Restaurant on Wednesday evening after the panel debate. Brush up on your knowledge of country flags, nordic exports and historical battles. We will kick off the quiz at 19:30!
Here is the preliminary programme for the sessions on the 28th and 29th of September. On the 27th of September we will have administrative meetings, a panel debate and a pub quiz.

We are thrilled to announce that Sheilagh Ogilvie, the Chichele Professor of Economic History at All Souls College Oxford, and Klara Arnberg, an associate professor in Economic History at Stockholm University, will be our keynote speakers.
You are invited to submit a paper to the 15th Swedish Economic History Meeting. We welcome papers dealing with all aspects of social and economic history. We particularly encourage paper proposals from graduate students.
We are now inviting session proposals. The deadline for session proposals is the 1st of February 2023.
The Scandinavian Economic History Review is offering the possibility for participants at the conference to submit their papers for fast-track consideration for publication.

The European Business History Association will hold the EBHA 2023 congress in Oslo, Norway from August 24 to August 26, 2023. The theme of the congress is “The Relevance of Business History”.
